We made a trip out to the suburbs and photographed some comfy cardigan and leggings outfit photos. To our luck, we were out right at that golden hour and the light was just gorgeous. A deer even ran through the woods right where we were taking photos so we quite enjoyed that! There’s nothing too special about the outfit just threw on something comfy for the day. This cardigan is the perfect length and I like that it has little snaps to close it in case it gets chilly.
After walking through the woods, we ventured to Skokie and stopped at the Skokie Historical Society Museum that is in an old engine house that was a fire station from 1888-1969 . Next to it is a historical log cabin built in 1847.
We saw family on Sunday for easter, which consisted of lots of food, stories, and laughter. For breakfast we had eggs benedict, pear bread pudding, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, two kinds of potatoes, and fruit. As well as some delicious Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas. Luckily we didn’t have to eat again until after six, because we were so stuffed after all that food and drinks. It was a gorgeous morning so we sat outside on the patio while digesting all that food. Unfortunately the weather didn’t last and it rained all afternoon/evening. But it was great nonetheless to spend time with family.
Hope you had a lovely weekend!
