This sweater was perfect for layering because it is actually a cropped sweater so it hits me right at my waits. I don’t really wear crop tops, but over a dress or a button down, it becomes the perfect length.
I wanted to take these photos in some nice Fall color but it turns out most of the leaves have already fallen. This little spot we found is still a great escape from the city streets even if it isn’t as colorful as I was hoping. We even saw a deer while we were taking photos, which is unexpected in the city!
Once the leaves have gone it really feels like Fall is coming to an end, which is super depressing because it is my favorite season and is definitely the shortest. While I’m excited for the holidays, I’m not excited about week after week of sub zero cold and snow storms. Driving and parking in Chicago is the worst in the winter. So basically I have to enjoy the Fall as much as I can while it lasts.
Aside from taking photos, we didn’t really do a whole lot this weekend. We spent our mornings walking around our neighborhood and going to coffee shops, which is probably my favorite thing to do in the city.
I just looked out the window and thought it was snowing for a second because there is heavy fog. I’ve never really seen anything like it considering we are only on the 3rd floor so it’s not like we are up all that high.
Hope everyone has a lovely week; enjoy what is left of Fall!
