Our three day weekend seemed to just fly by since we had quite a bit going on! Luckily the weather was phenomenal this weekend, so we tried to go for walks as much as possible. We took these photos on Sunday, which started off with some coffee in Logan Square (they also have amazing donuts too!) and then we headed to the Logan Square Farmer’s Market with our friend Karina. Lots of beautiful flowers, delicious food, and unique items such as goat milk soap! Karina is a photographer/graphic designer, so we were super excited when she wanted to snap a few photos of us in front of this gorgeous mural. Then she decided it would be fun to look around one of her favorite plant (and more) stores and take pictures of us while doing so, we may or may not have felt super awkward the entire time… haha
The other photos Dan took of me at a friend’s house in their “garden” area. Their place on the second floor has this outdoor space that you get to by climbing out a window. We were in love with it and wish we could some how have one at our place. The shorts I’m wearing I thrifted awhile ago. The outfit (besides the shoes) is basically all vintage. The shorts are old Lee’s and my top was actually my maternal grandmother’s. She loved basically everything flowers and it is possible she even sewed this shirt herself (there isn’t a single tag inside it). My grandma was really tiny so the top is pretty short on me, but luckily these high-waist shorts solve that problem! Hope you had a wonderful weekend and a fantastic week as well!
