We enjoyed a date night out on Friday after work. Unsure of exactly were to go, we ended up at Ugo’s Kitchen & Bar in Logan Square. It is an Italian restaurant and everything on the menu is meant to share. Our cocktails were delicious! Mine was called Happy Camper and included smoke in the ingredients, not sure how that worked.
Dan bought me this dress from a local boutique store called Hazel. We had seen it in the window one day as we were walking around our neighborhood. It caught my attention because the flowers on the dress look exactly like some of the dried flowers we bought and used in the center pieces at our wedding. Basically I knew I had to have it! The shop was closed when we walked by, so it was such an exciting surprise when I unwrapped it on my birthday. Dan’s outfit is also semi wedding themed, as he is wearing the vest from his three piece wedding suit.
So we made a pretty big purchase (for us) recently and upgraded our camera to a full frame. After comparing cameras and looking in to a lot of bodies and lenses we chose the Canon 6D. It was one of the best performing for its price and has basically everything we need, so we just went for it. We can’t wait to shoot more outfit posts with it and bring it on our trips that we have planned this year! This Saturday we are leaving for Portland, Oregon! We are flying out and then taking the train back from Seattle. It should be quite the adventure… Let us know if you have any recommendations for restaurants, coffee shops, and activities in Portland!
